In the Groom workspace (Professional and Studio plans), each tool has a single-letter shortcut. Press the key on your keyboard to instantly switch tools.

Mouse shortcuts & gestures

You can quickly adjust brush sizes, duplicate cards, and slide hair across the scalp using simple mouse gestures:

Slide Card on ScalpDrag Green Root HandleMoves the card across the head while keeping it conformed flat to the skull.
Duplicate & Stamp CardHold Shift + Drag Root HandleCreates a copy of the card and slides it to a new location on the head.
Slide Card Root OnlyHold Ctrl + Left Mouse Button (in Move mode)Slides only the root point across the scalp while keeping the hair tip in place.
Adjust Control PointsHold Tab + Scroll Mouse WheelAdds or removes control points along selected cards (between 4 and 16 points).
Loft Card CountHold Ctrl + Scroll Mouse Wheel (in Loft mode)Increases or decreases the number of generated cards between the two boundary rails.
Select Multiple CardsHold Shift + Click cardsAdds cards to your active selection.
Isolate Selected CardsShift+IHides all other cards so you can focus on the selected lock without visual clutter.

Navigation

Camera controls & views

Navigate the 3D viewport quickly with standard mouse buttons or snap the camera using the cube in the top-right corner.
